Transcript

The biggest challenge I faced when trying to continue my high school education was getting pregnant at 15 years old.

I eventually dropped out of high school.

Hi. My name is Sofia Jaquez. I’m from San Jose. I am 19 years old and my daughter Elina is 3 years old.

Stephanie my Teen Success Advocate went far and beyond in trying to get me back into school.

Stephanie decided just to sit down with me, we research some potential alternative high schools and I eventually took initiative and went applied myself.

I eventually graduated June of 2019 and I even became the student speaker at my graduation.

Where I am now is at Mission College studying Sociology.

I care a lot about this program and I want to ask you to donate to Teen Success so that other young moms like me can get the same opportunities I did.

Plus, when you donate by December 31st, your donation is going to get matched.

Visit teensuccess.org/match to make your donation today.
