Joins Stand Together Foundation's $10 Million ‘Giving Together’ Initiative8/19/2019 ![]() National network unites Americans and high-impact nonprofits to break the cycle of poverty; All individual donations of up to $1,000 matched through the end of 2019 MILPITAS, CA, August 25, 2019 – Teen Success, Inc. is proud to announce its participation in Stand Together Foundation’s 'Giving Together' Initiative to raise awareness, inspire action and help people make a difference in communities across the country. In honor of California Young Parents Day, August 25 – a day recognizing young parents’ dignity, right to education, and access to vital resources they need to become the best students, parents, and citizens they can be – Teen Success, Inc. reaffirms its commitment to empower young mothers to reach their full potential and is launching a campaign to raise $25,000 by December 31 through individual and matched funds from Stand Together Foundation. “When young families thrive, we all thrive,” says Karin Kelley, Executive Director of Teen Success, Inc., “and with the support of Stand Together Foundation, we can continue our work empowering two generations at a time to break the cycle of poverty.” In yearlong support of individual efforts to reduce poverty, individual donations of up to $1,000 to Teen Success, Inc. made through Teen Success, Inc.’s Giving Together GoFundMe page will be matched through the end of 2019 by Stand Together Foundation. Matching dollars will double the impact to support Teen Success, Inc.’s work to empower young mothers to graduate high school and break the cycle of poverty for themselves and their children. Teen Success, Inc. is a member of Stand Together Foundation’s growing network of more than 150 highly effective social entrepreneur-led nonprofits that are working to break the cycle of poverty in America. Through its highly selective training and mentorship program, Stand Together Foundation works with its nonprofit partners to support, strengthen, and scale their work across six issue areas: Addiction, Mental Health and Trauma; Economic Mobility; Homelessness; Criminal Justice Reform, Workforce Development; and Youth.
