Teen Success, Inc. has reached an important growth moment. This year we completed an intensive three-year transformation of our program for young mothers and their children, as part of the PropelNext program, an initiative of the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation.
We’ve come out a smarter, stronger, and more impactful organization with a renewed focus and even more passion to serve young mothers and their children with the best of the best. We now serve teen mothers and their children across California in Oakland, Redwood City/East Palo Alto, San Jose, Salinas, Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield/Lamont, Madera, Sacramento and Reno, Nevada.
Teen Success is good at teaching us about our rights to our body, our rights as parents, and how to protect and better ourselves.
Our increasingly comprehensive program model is grounded in research and best practice, with interventions that point directly to the goals we aim for our participants to achieve:
Teen Success, Inc. is better able to reach more young families across California by partnering with successful community-based organizations that are already grounded in local communities and working with teen mothers. In addition to providing services directly in San Jose and Redwood City/East Palo Alto, our implementing partners to deliver the Teen Success, Inc. Program to young families in multiple locations throughout the state and now in Nevada. Through a new partnership with Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, we’ll be serving an additional 120 young mothers and their children in the 2018-2019 program year.
Through this new partnership with Planned Parenthood Mar Monte and our current partners, Teen Success, Inc. is now serving families in 10 cities across California and Nevada.
Teen Success, Inc.’s vision is that every teen mother and her child will have the support and opportunities necessary to prosper. We invite you to learn more about our Growth Campaign here and join us in ensuring young women who become mothers in their teens can attain success in school and in life, for themselves and their children.
